Community mourns Batesville man William Nickel a 39 year old telegraph operator and clothing store co owner who died after a few days illness with Spanish influenza and pneumonia. He was a Batesville native and bank director remembered for kindness to family friends and children. services were held at St Louis Church with burial in the church cemetery.
