They reported balances across funds, authorized street scraping, and listed various claims. A spate of dog killings followed mad dog sightings, with owners praised for quick action. Grover Benz left Sunday for Richmond Indiana to join Middlesboro Kentucky in the Appalachian League for a tryout as shortstop. He has been strong infield and a reliable hitter and aims to prove himself. Hugo Benz originally planned a tryout at first base but due to league delays switched plans and stayed home.

Couple United in Marriage in Indianapolis Ceremony

Fragge Kirschbaum Lawrence Fragge and Robert Kirschbaum formerly of Batesville now residing in Indianapolis wed at St Anthony's in Indianapolis. They returned for a reception at Leonard Kirschbaum's home and another at John Boehmer's before leaving Monday for their new home in Indianapolis. The Tribune extends congratulations.

Resident Kruthaupt Dies After Sickness and Accident

A 73 year old resident, Henry J. Kruthaupt, died at his daughter Mrs Otto Baudendistal's home after a period of illness following a fall from a wagon. Tuberculosis was the immediate cause. He leaves four brothers and one sister, four sons Henry Joe Ben and Frank, and one daughter. The funeral is set for 9 am Friday.

Auto and bicyclist collide near Union factory

Last Saturday near the Union factory a collision occurred when Will Thielking on a bicycle and Dr Gibson plus Wm St Clair in a doctor’s auto could not see each other due to lumber blocking view. Thielking was bruised but unharmed aside from a scratch and a scare, and all parties ended with relief and a late dinner.
