Henry Behrman proprietor announces readiness of the Behr man livery barn located on George street beside the Batesville Mill for service.
Laughery Valley Lodge announces Esquire rank work Thursday night March 14 with several candidates. All Knights are requested to be present.
Lost item described as a billious attack with nausea and sick headache occurred between 9.30 p m yesterday and noon today. The box of Dr King's New Life Pills found at Baas and Schultz's drug store is advertised as a guaranteed cure for billiousness malaria and jaundice. price 25 cents.
Numerous Batesville advertisements show Walsman and Krieger selling grass seed oats onions and clover seed while Frank Walsman and H H Kramer promote shoes hearing papers and wallpaper. Local residents travel to Cincinnati for shopping and work as Klein and M c A travel on business and family moves are noted.
Residents can now pay taxes at the Batesville Baok for Batesville, Laughery, Adams, Oldenburg, and Ray townships with no charges. The site offers tax processing for multiple townships in one location.

The mission at St Louis Church attracts many parishioners as Rev Fathers Chrysostom Theobald and Vincent Frost preach in German about Christian truths with zeal and eloquence. Services run morning and evening before closing next Sunday evening.
The Modern Woodmen and Neighbors of Home Sweet Home camp traveled to Osgood Saturday evening to witness and assist in the initiation of twenty four candidates into the Woodmen camp. A crowded house saw the ceremonies before a luncheon prepared by the Osgood camp. Batesville neighbors returned home early Sunday morning pleased with the trip.
The Lutheran Church holds Lenten services every Thursday evening with Rev. Gringer delivering forcible sermons aimed at awakening sinners and strengthening saints. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
Milton Geisler of near Rexville has a job as street car conductor in Indianapolis earning about eighteen dollars weekly. Mrs. Mary Mackelfresh and her three children reside in Indianapolis while Mr. Mackelfresh runs business across the Southern states. Mrs. F M Gelvin and grandson Victor King visited D McCallum’s family, Neil McCallum of Columbus visited Indianapolis, and Walter McCoy of Milan with Walter Franke of Spades traveled to the legislature to watch votes cast by Versailles Republican subscribers.
The First National Bank will receive bids for erecting a new bank building on March 16, 1907. For plans and specifications call at the bank's present rooms.
The Tuesday and Wednesday opening at Meyers hardware drew about six hundred attendees as the largest line of implements in the region was shown. Gasoline engines operated machinery, and demonstrations featured a Great Western manure spreader and Sharples cream separator. Clerks took orders amid a fine lunch and extensive sales including thirty three corn planters thirty eight cultivators eight mature spreaders and several buggies and surries.
