Mrs Frank Green Dies After Illness at 39
Mrs Frank Green, aged thirty nine, died after a lengthy illness. Services were held at her home and at St John’s Church with burial in the church cemetery. She was active in the Pythian Sisters and the Ladies’ Society, survived by a husband, two children, and four sisters, with funeral arrangements by Undertaker Zierer.

City Mail Delivery Begins Next Monday Rural Routes Reshaped
Citywide mail delivery starts Monday with batonville service by two carriers and fourteen collection boxes. Carriers will deliver four times daily in business areas beginning at 7 30 a m 10 30 a m 1 50 p m and 4 p m and two resident deliveries at 7 30 a m and 1 50 p m. Rural routes are being changed July 1 with some discontinued and others lengthened to cover former patrons from Napoleon and the Delaware route.
