County Dry Vote Sets Path for 18 Unpolled Counties
Warrick County votes dry by 250 in the county option tally. Of 74 counties that have acted, 62 dry and 12 wet, 18 remain unvoted with no petitions yet filed for elections. Analysts foresee 8 of these leaning dry, 5 strong wet, and 5 leaning wet. In Senate finance news 15 to 18 Democrats back a 15 percent duty on hides, with 18 Republicans opposing. Democratic brains back the party, their absence would weaken the party’s backbone and future.
