Stars to Play Two Games With Shamrocks July Fourth

Heavy rains last week forced the postponement of a Stars versus Ramblers game from Cincinnati. The Stars will host two games with the Osgood Shamrocks at the fair grounds on July 4, with first pitch at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Roell and Terry will pitch for the locals. Admission is free.

Pfalsgraff case in Squire Stowe's court over 1801 wreck

In a June 29 session in the town hall, a six man jury found for plaintiff John Pfalsgraff of the Big Four rail road for damages totaling 90 dollars from a July 12 1801 incident. The verdict covered 75 dollars for the killed horse 3 dollars for injuries to another horse and 12 dollars for harness. Attorneys were Connelley and Gelvin for Pfalsgraff and T Cravens for the Big Four.

St. Clair's Grove Fourth Of July Promises Festivities And Sales

Juniors Hand Sunman Lads Defeat In Second Tilt

The Juniors beat Sunman 18 to 4 as Bruenning and Green starred on the mound and at bat. Sunman could not solve the Juniors curves while the visitors sprayed hits to all fields. The Juniors now own three wins this season and seem headed for tougher opposition.
