Mother and son indicted for murder in Lafayette
In Lafayette Indiana on February 11 1914 Emma Barger and her son Paul were indicted for the murder of John C Barger a railroad conductor shot at his home June 26 1913. The grand jury charged the mother as an accessory before the fact and both were released on bond with the son at 10000 and the mother at 5000.
