Uncle Bert Farver Dies After 84 Years at Batavia High
L B Farver known as Uncle Bert custodian of Batavia High School for 84 years died at 76. He retired last October after long illness from heart disease. Born September 8 1867 in Bloomsburg Pa he lived in Batavia 44 years. Survived by wife Mamie three sons Cleo Clare Ralph two brothers Cal and Harry four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral at First Methodist Church with burial in Franklin Grove cemetery. Lieut John D Blohm and Mary Louise Anderson Blohm welcomed baby girl at St Joseph Mercy hospital Camp Stewart Ga. mother former Mary Louise Anderson.
