Terrible double death at Red Bank shocks Wyoming

Coroner and Sheriff investigated a Sunday night tragedy at Red Bank ranch. Edna May Jenkins and her husband Thomas W. Jenkins were found dead. Edna had been shot twice in the lungs and once in the head, while Thomas died from a gunshot to the heart. Evidence suggested each fired a pistol and a blaze on the mattress was extinguished. The jury found Jenkins killed himself after shooting Edna, with the couple possibly isolated and distressed by solitude.

Town Decorated With Purple and White Bunting Display

All day Monday a large force decorated business houses with purple and white bunting and Tuesday morning the town showed a carnival look. The Zeppelin model air ship in The Republican window drew much attention and agricultural exports and habits were highlighted in several windows. Over 1,000 yards of hunting material were used exteriorly and the scene resembled an Elks convention with colors of that order.
