At Indianola Iowa on September 14 a bolt of lightning struck a crowded poultry exhibition tent killing four men and injuring about a dozen. The fair closed immediately. Josh Ellia of G C Ellis Son, real estate, attended with fruits and grains display and escaped harm by about ten feet.
