D C Bowman postmaster of Basin Wyoming died at his home Tuesday at 2 30 am after a year of poor health and a recent Rochester Minn operation Survived by his widow six children two brothers E P Bowman and R P Bowman and both parents Funeral held at Basin Baptist church Wednesday with Masons and Knights of Pythias aiding services Rev Joslin delivered remarks on life and death and the mystery of humanity, with references to faith in Jesus Christ, the resurrection and life.

Whaley Loses Finger In Thresher Accident
Ten Sleep rancher W. T. Whaley lost the second finger of his left hand last Tuesday when it was caught in the grain elevator of a thresher. Dr. Fawcett dressed the wound after amputating the mangled finger at the joint. The injured man reportedly endured the procedure without chloroform, saying, I can if you can.
