District Court in Session Disposes Cases and Delays Jury

Judge Winter sits this week while Judge Metz is disqualified. District court in Benin and at Thermopolie hears ex parte matters and preliminary motions. Notable entries include Nicely vs Quiner et al, verdict last term with new trial sought, and several civil and criminal actions with damages and pleas of guilty or continued trials. Miller family buys $5000 in Hagin State Bank stock

Wm A Miller and family of Bro kenback were visitors in town last Friday. During the visit Mr Miller completed the purchase of $5000 of stock in the Hagin State Bank. The stock was previously owned by Wu L Rohrer of Chicago and was part of the Dieck holdings in the bank stock.

Joint Institute to Be Held in Worland September 7 11

County superintendents A F Fillerop and Mary L Hatfield announce a joint institute for teachers of Weahalie and Hig Horn ree to be held in Worland from September 7 to 11 with instructors including J O Creager J C Knode H K Knight and E C Hoover among others.
