Sheriff Recovers Suspect From Grey Bull Flight
Sheriff Wickwire returned from Thermopolia with J. C. Wallace who was wanted at Grey Bull for beating a board bill. Wallace came to Basin from Greybull, secured clothes, and tried to flee the country. The sheriff located him and he is jailed in the county lockup.

Contract Let For New Hall By Basin Firm
Hime Brothers of Basin secured a 16000 dollar contract for a new lodge hall on Fourth Street replacing the former Fraternity hall. The 30 by 108 foot brick three story building will house mercantile space on the first floor, lodge rooms on the second, and a banquet hall on the third. Construction starts immediately and aims for rapid completion as one of the largest, most up to date lodge buildings in the area.
