On Wednesday around four o'clock Mrs. Vandevender reported smoke from a frame building owned by B. C. Hart, formerly a garage. The fire was extinguished by Mr. Vandevender before firefighters arrived. The blaze started when a lamp attached to an oat sprouter fell, causing damage only to the machine.
