Enterline To Close Basin Campaign With Leading Speaker

The Republican campaign closes in Basin Saturday night with EB B Enterline as a leading speaker. It ends a weeklong tour after stops in Thermopolis Tuesday, Lovell Wednesday, Powell Thursday, and Cody tonight. Enterline, Wyoming’s top lawyer, draws broad support and will speak on politics and statewide issues. The event begins promptly after the program, earlier than usual.

Committees were formed for a social Friday evening November 6 at 7 30 in the Armory Bank with a five time expected. Women’s club approves new members and discusses drives

At a Wednesday greeting of the Woman's club, Mesdames Miller Gibbon Craig Martin Byers and Avery were approved for membership. A Basin Hall rent bill of seven dollars was paid. A request from Gatherie Morten urged support for the Red Cross work. A committee including Ballon Colley Snow Robb and Colling will study aiding the cause. Treasurer Sullivan urged dues for domestic science equipment. The program on music and drama featured a saxophone solo, vocal numbers, papers on social problems and the End of the Task reading, and a short biography. About fifty ladies attended.

Will Stock Reservoir receives government trout shipment

Ed Carothers of Brokenback visited town last Tuesday to collect six cans of brook trout from the Missoula hatchery for his fifty acre reservoir. The water runs about fifteen feet deep and the brook trout are expected to thrive. The Presbyterian Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs F M Booth next Thursday.
