A large Red Cross and soldiers library fund event is planned in Hyattville tomorrow night. Frank W. Mondell will speak, with local speakers, choir numbers, and a dancing program. Proceeds go to the funds, tickets cost 1 dollar, supper served at midnight.

Pioneer Woman Ellen Hollywood Dies at Hyattville
Mrs Ellen Hollywood died at home in Hyattville after 35 years in the region. Born September 6 1848 she was 79. She leaves thirteen children, seven living. Funeral held at Hyattville Thursday afternoon.

War Pictures Shown In East Movie Houses
During their visit in the east there were official war pictures shown in the movie houses. In each city visited the films had appeared ahead of them. By the time they reached Denver they found the same pictures still playing. Taken by the English government, the footage will join historical war files. It depicts men in action the trench conditions big guns tanks and their operations.

McDaniels Take Brief Trip to Thermopolis Kansas City
On Tuesday at noon Mr and Mrs W R McDaniel traveled to Thermopolis with Mrs Severy mother of Mrs McDaniel who had visited Basin for about six weeks. They stopped briefly then Mrs Severy continued to Kansas City while the McDaniels returned home.
