Death by own action ends Hitchings life on Trap per creek
Chas C Hitchings aged 80 on Trapper Creek near Chimney Rock died Tuesday morning from a self inflicted gunshot. Coroner's inquest not held though sworn testimony recorded. He left a wife Maud Davis and two daughters Clara and Bernis. Despondency over debt and financial affairs cited as cause. Relatives from Iowa expected today. funeral likely at Shell or Greybull.

Fire destroys paint warehouse owned by Lincoln man
Fire last Saturday morning at about four o clock engulfed and burned the building occupied by H. Whitmore as a paint warehouse. The structure burned completely to the ground and Mr Whitmores law has not yet been determined. The building was owned by H K B Sawyer of Lincoln Nebraska.

Jailbreak at local jail as two inmates escape
