Woman's Club Details October Meeting and Revisions
The Woman's Club met in the library on Wednesday October 11th. The president Mrs R G Belton presided and minutes were approved. Bills were paid and new club books issued. By laws were revised and amendments added. The club considers a police woman for supervising dances and smoking minors. A program followed with a solo by Ruth Wickwire and piano by Catherine Arnett. Reports from Mrs Belton and Mrs Beck covered the state federation meeting in Torrington and fund pledges of 50 and 500 to state and national federations. Manderson Pioneer Chas G McDonald Found Dead
Chas G McDonald pioneer of the Big Horn Basin and Manderson merchant was found dead in a Manderson store room yesterday afternoon. An inquest determined death by a self inflicted gunshot wound from a 45 Colt revolver after he had held a quiet morning in the store and visited his wife at home. He was 66, survived by wife and two sons, with funeral planned likely for Sunday.
