Fruit Growers Form Temporary Association in Basin
The Basin Progress Association led a Thursday morning meeting at the fraternity hall to unify Big Horn Basin fruit growers. A. F. Marsh urged commercial orchards to replace kitchen orchards, predicting vast wealth and higher land values. A temporary organization was formed with Willis J. Booth as president and plans for a Basin convention on November 15–16, 1910.
