Oil Derrick Burns Near Greybull in Major Fire
A Greybull Drilling Company oil well exploded into flames at about two o'clock last Monday night. The largest derrick owned by the company was destroyed, with two men burned though not fatally. Loss estimated over 10000 dollars, as a large well reached the surface and fire raced through the rig lighting up the surrounding country. Manager Lamb suspects an early strike due to sand pressure and a crevice in the formation caused the blowout before daylight.
