The Live Wire club welcomed about 150 visiting ladies with a house tour and phonograph entertainment by Don Denny. An evening minstrel show by Mr and Mrs Harry Johnson impressed the men, followed by light refreshments and dancing. The banquet last night praised Captain Bonwell and his team as royal entertainers in a crowded club room.
