Newport entertains Sunday school class with games and treats
Last Friday afternoon Mrs. M. F. Newport entertained the children of her Sunday school class. Games were played, after which refreshments were served. The 2% year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Davidson of Burlington expired last Tuesday. Interment was made on Wednesday in the Burlington cemetery.

Representative Frank W. Mondell of Wyoming was chosen Republican floor leader on the first ballot at the Republican conference, after Mann of Illinois declined the post.
