Welcome Home for Soldiers Opens Monthly Welcome entertainments
The first monthly welcome home event for returning soldiers drew a large crowd at Fraternity hall with over fifty soldiers as guests. Basin band and Dr Vanslyke orchestra provided dancing while a luncheon was served. Wm C Snow welcomed the boys and outlined plans for ongoing events. Lew Boles spoke for the soldiers and thanked Basin for the warm reception. Funds were secured to cover all expenses and leave a balance for the next committee. The next event will be Thursday evening April 3 at the hall with organizers to be announced.

National Forest Roads Boosted by Post Office Bill
Denver March 5 The new post office appropriation act signed March 3 raises federal aid for roads by 200 million and provides 9 million for roads and trails within national forests.
