The Chamber of Commerce board met with President R B Wert presiding. Reports said the federal building committee will report next week and the Grey Bull road work is nearing completion. A bridge right of way remains to be confirmed. The chamber agreed to entertain fair visitors and manage the fair dance, street show, parade, and finance the band with 25 dollars. A committee was named for the municipal camp ground and Liberty Bond promotion.

London Raid by German Planes Kills and Maims in London
London suffered heavy losses in a German air raid with about 534 casualties including 97 killed and 487 wounded. The east end was hardest hit with many homes and businesses destroyed and at least 10 children killed in a single street. British fighters pursued the incoming squadron but few German planes were brought down.
