Miss Marceline Jacobs died Wednesday at Hopewell hospital in Thermopolis after surgery for ulcers. Born September 21 1881 in Bradford Vermont she was forty. Survived by mother three brothers and two sisters. Funeral at Catholic church tomorrow at 10 with Rev. Fr. Enders. interment Mount View cemetery.

Gas Explosion Injures Ohio Oil Worker Bert Morton
Bert Morton, of the Ohio Oil Co., was severely hurt in a gas explosion at Hidden Sunday morning. A clogged cast iron pipe caused a rupture at 400 pounds pressure, flinging him twenty feet and injuring his leg, bruising his body, and causing internal injuries. He was taken to Basin hospital and was reported resting easier with a hoped rapid recovery.

Thos M Hyde reports the death of his father Patrick Hyde at a daughter's home in Dumont Colorado He was born March 1 1829 in Nova Scotia to Irish parents He served in the 16th New Hampshire Infantry during the Civil War He lived in Bellows Falls Vermont and Beloit Kansas before moving to Beloit He married Ellen Stock in Bellows Falls in 1855 and she died in 1908 He was known as a physical giant and outdoorsman The remains will rest in Beloit and the family plans to lay him to final rest there Monday

Death of George Horsley in Manderson area
George Horsley aged 68 died Tuesday night after a long illness of old age. Born in England he worked as a coal miner and oversaw operations at the Early coal mine near Manderson. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from John Voss’s residence four miles south of Manderson with burial in Basin Cemetery.
