Sheepherder Chesney Killed by Lightning Near Meeteetse
A sheepherder named Chesney was struck and killed by lightning on Tuesday while with two men on the south fork of Wood River above Meeteetse. Chesney fell about fifty feet from his companion as the bolt struck. It was some time before the body could be recovered. The funeral was held from Meeteetse yesterday afternoon.
