Lands Restored for Gas Use in Greybull Basin Wyoming
Senators Clark Warren and Rep Mondell urged Secretary of the Interior to restore withdrawn oil and gas lands near Greybull and Basin Wyoming. A plan would designate two compact areas within petroleum reserves for testing to supply gas for local needs, with potential further modifications if unproductive. The move coincides with a Warren bill granting agricultural entry for Wyoming oil lands under homestead and desert laws with oil and gas reservations preserved.

Gold Prospecting Report From Thermopolis Camp
C M Miller of Thermopolis, returning from Bald Mountain, reports about twenty men at the gold camp. A test sample yielded roughly 1 to 20 dollars worth of gold from 12 yards of sand, with dirt value estimated at about 24 dollars. New machinery and ongoing work suggest good profits, though county location for the claims is disputed between this county and Sheridan County due to crest terrain near the Hig Horns.
