A procession to the chautauqua tent honored them as Mayor Wise voiced pride and gratitude.

Picnic on Fourth Held by Sunday School Group

Gas Well for Markham Sparks Local Excitement
Co. D Markham drilling in Murphy home east of Kirby Creek brought in a big gas well last Friday. Rigs rushed to the field and former abandoned locations are being held. Gas found about 1500 feet, 200 feet above the sand where oil is expected, signaling a potentially good field in the area.

Prohibition raid in Greybull nets whiskey seizure

Trucks Deliver Tools For Basin Road Campaign

Man Charged With Forgery Bound Over To Court

Death of Lester Hale in Shell near Greybull
Lester Hale died of tuberculosis at his sister Mrs. W. R. McCracken's home on Shell last Friday afternoon. A 43 year old Dubois resident recently moved to the area, he leaves a sister and a brother Dad Hale of Thermopolis. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon conducted by a Greybull Baptist minister, with interment in Shell cemetery. Hale was a Spanish American War veteran and well known to old time residents.
