Demise of Mrs Frank Wood in Wyoming community
Mrs. Frank Wood died at 3 15 Thursday morning from pneumonia after a period of ill health. Funeral planned for 2 00 this afternoon at the Baptist church with Rev. Morten Joslin presiding and the Eastern Star ceremony. Matilda Leeper Brown, born in Iowa about 36 years ago, lived in Basin four years and taught before marriage. brother Dr. Leeper of Copper in Mexico survives. Also notes Nellie Good, wife of HK Good, left home and responsibility for debts.

Will Of Late Postmaster Bowman Litigated in Court
In Basin session court Judge Parmelee heard divorces and the Workman Johnson case. Edward Maples won a divorce from Myrtle Maples with no appearance by her. Tollertson Warfield of Sioux City sued Workman Johnson Co. and its bank mortgagee interest. The bank seeks $6,000 under a mortgage. The Bowman will case centers on whether Mrs. Bowman should manage the estate or E. P. Bowman as executor. Attorneys include Simpson & Donnelly for Mrs Bowman and KK. Bowman represented by K. P. Bowman’s counsel.
