Progress association discusses lamb taxation policy in Basin session
In a regular Basin session at the Antlers Judge Metz presided as E J Sullivan urged tax relief for lambs fed locally arguing that feeding hay markets crops and supports a new industry. Others urged following existing law and pushing legislative change while a committee was asked to study the matter. The Basin Woman’s club gathered at the library later with talks on foods and current events and a social afterward. The Greybull company found a water well in a gas field hole indicating future pumping needs and cost savings, with plans to drill another well. Church service noted for February 14 1914.
