Wyoming governor Houx grants self oil lease half interest
Frank L. Houx, hours before leaving office as acting governor, assigned himself a one half interest in an oil lease valued at 50 000 to 100 000 dollars. The incoming land board cancelled the lease for violating board rules and the lease was re auctioned to Charles McGonable. The land lies in Washakie county near Thermopolis. Houx has spent much time in California where oil interests are reported. Mrs Vincent and children depart for Houston to reside.
