Boy Dies in Accidental Shot Near Spears Farm
A coroner's jury ruled the shooting of 13 year old William Spears accidental. The incident occurred when neighbor Robert Pebbles and family found the shotgun broken and the boy fatally shot in the temple. The Pebbles boy was cleared of intent. Community mourns the tragedy.

Fatal Greybull Explosion Destroys Jones Family
A Sunday morning blast in Greybull leveled a home near St. Es hospital after a test gas caused a tub of gasoline to ignite. The mother and two young children died that afternoon while the father survived with facial and hand burns. Funeral services for the children were held Wednesday.

The Basin’s Big Horn Bank erected a nine foot tall illuminated chime clock on its building built by O B McClintock of Minneapolis. It features five tubular bells with Westminster chimes at quarter and hour and hour strokes, audible for blocks, and is operated by a master clock with electric lighting for night.
