Emerson Responds to Basin Park Exploitation Resolutions
State Engineer F C Emerson objects to Basin Chamber of Commerce resolutions on Yellowstone park development. He cites his 1919 field study and argues a dam at Yellowstone lake could be artistic and not harmful, potentially enhancing falls while noting no ready reservoir sites outside the park. He urges Wyoming to avoid antiMontana propaganda and offers to address the issue publicly.
