Christian Science services will be held in Fraternity Hall Sunday at 11 a.m. The lesson sermon topic is "Christ Jesus." All are cordially invited to attend.
The notice lists Sunday at 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. sermons by the pastor. Also 2 p.m. Junior League, 2:30 p.m. Epworth League, Ladies' Aid Thursday afternoon, and Thursday prayer meeting at 7:30 p.m.
The twenty third annual Wyoming Mission session will be in Evanston from August 31 to September 4 with Bishop Robert McIntyre presiding. Clergy travel expenses will be pooled, some trains depart Cheyenne at 1 30 a m, and Evanston offers free lodging to pooling pastors and families. The program includes regional edication events, sacraments, and multiple addresses by church leaders and guests.

Last Saturday at the B. T. Joslin ranch crowd gathered around Warrick’s farm wagon to view a huge muskmelon weighing about eighteen pounds. Tommy Massey of Otto purchased the prize fruit for $1.50. Warrick’s ranch draws visitors Sundays to see his methods and steady, active farming.
W. W. Shaver, former county treasurer, visited town for a day or two and conferred with party leaders. He reports the Republican prospects as the best ever and notes his familiarity with political barometers in the county.
Mr Farlien of Chico California arrived in Basin last Friday to visit his son Dr J A Maren and consider investments in the area. A prosperous California rancher he plans to look over Wy Young and may invest here.
A party of men met with J. C. Kelsey of Otto last week and formed a ditch company to water 2,400 acres of land near Otto. The agreement aims to develop a new irrigation system to support local agriculture and increase crop yields. The partners expect to begin construction pending final negotiations with landowners and securing funding.
