Henry Armeling Sr. was kicked by a colt on his son Carl’s farm south of town last Saturday. Multiple tororile fractures and body bruises required medical treatment. doctor’s dressing completed. Though injuries are not serious, he will be confined for some time.

Sheriff B F Wickwire returned with Joe Clifford, sought for disposing of mortgaged property. Clifford, located near Flint Montana after a trek from August 7, may settle with G W Black of this county. if not, he will be arraigned once the prosecuting attorney returns from Cheyenne. Letters from churches showed growth and two new churches Gebo and Lucerne were admitted, bringing Basin churches to nineteen. District superintendent Rev. D. D. County Commissioner S T Johnson paid $14 after a visit to the justice, though unsure of the law, to set a tone for improved road ethics. Roads near Burlington now cleaner and better. Road work under supervisor proceeds to improve county highways.
