Joseph J. Johnson, who died in France on October 2, 1918, was buried at Mount View cemetery with full military honors. The Manderson service, under American Legion and Wyoming Cavalry auspices, featured Rev. Dockman and a local quartet, with many friends and tribute flowers from Red Cross Mothers and Friends and Sunday school. Pallbearers included Harry Jarves Louis Biagni Frank Barth Harold Pickett and R S Cyphers.

Boys Club Festival at Otto on the Greybull River
Members from Basin poultry canning and garden clubs gathered at the courthouse in Basin at 10 30 AM and traveled to Otto with E Ray Brown and E B Knudsen. Death of Infant Partridge
An infant child of Mr and Mrs Blake Partridge of Denver was stillborn last Monday night at Dr Smiths hospital and interred the following day at Burlington. Mrs Partridge is the daughter of Bishop and Mrs McNiven of Burlington. Friends offer sincere condolence to the family.

Lovell Glass Plant Opens With Big Basin Turnout
At midnight Tuesday the Lovell glass factory began operations drawing 1500 to 2000 visitors from the Big Horn Basin. The opening featured a band concert and speeches by F. W. Mullison, P. W. Metz, J. M. Schoob, A. S. Mercer, and Roy J. Covert. The plant will run three eight hour shifts employing about 200 workers and may add 500 residents to Lovell.

W L Spigelmire longtime employee at Continental Supply in Basin was arrested in Billings on a grand larceny warrant. He allegedly cashed a $100 money order for the company and used the funds personally. A Oklahoma girl claims he planned to marry on the 15th. A preliminary hearing was expected this afternoon with additional similar charges possible.

Man Howell Sought After for Thefts and Forgery
Sometime after Lyle Howell was charged with stealing from W. B. Gould west of Basin and sent by Judge Metz to the Worland reform school then paroled to O. B. Lungren west of town he forged Lungren’s checks and left the country. Sheriff Wickwire tracked him to an army station in Philadelphia and local officers consider whether to demand his return for trial.
