Last Friday J H Welsh moved the Gibson building to the rear of the lot to clear space for a new furniture store. The next day he shifted two Todd buildings west of the Thompson Lumber yards to the Todd land south of the fair grounds. Todd plans to use them for storing bee supplies and other bee industry needs. Ed Cusack, once a Basin country resident and former Lyslie foreman, visited from Wheatland with daughter Mrs W C May, announcing his resignation from the railroad to move back to Greybull and join Felix Alston in a road gang of convicts. He anticipates Wheatland country work most of the time.

Mrs. Fred P House died very suddenly last Wednesday morning after quinsy illness. She had lived in Basin for years with her husband Fred P House, was active in women’s clubs and church work, and they moved her body to Illinois for burial. Funeral services were held at her Basin home with Rev. A M Creath officiating. The community offers deepest sympathy to her husband and sister Mrs Warren Jones.
