Born in New York, he moved to Barton county in 1574, lived in Independent township, later ran a Great Bend business, and spent 16 years in Hutchinson. Funeral rites were held in Great Bend Nov 1 with Knights Templar and G A R presence. He leaves a wife Lena Teed and son Robert, plus a large circle of friends.
