Great Bend Visit by Local Business Men Arrives in Larned
The Business Men's Association of Great Bend visited Larned on Tuesday with nine autos carrying members. Dr. Meade led the group, followed by the Friedeman cars and several local figures. Despite mud and rain, they toured mercantile establishments, attended a banquet at the Grand hotel, and heard talks on chattel mortgages and farming cooperation. The party returned by train, expressing hospitality and mutual respect between cities, while noting arrests for prohibitory law violations and local community notices.
