Distressing wagon accident injures Miss Zoe Chapman

Miss Zoe Chapman and Miss Lewis rode to Greg ory with Miss Chapman's brother when the wagon coupling failed or parted on return. They were thrown out, causing a compound fracture of Chapman's left ankle. She remains seriously injured but prognosis is cautiously hopeful. J R Lindsley has formed a local baseball team mixing veterans and new players and plans a Sunday game with Hoisington on their grounds.
