Charles C Hotchkiss died after long life of service
Charles Crittenden Hotchkiss of Hector New York born 1892 died at his brother Edward's home February 4 in this city aged 82 1 3. He moved with his parents to Michigan grew up educated in state schools and universities later taught in Missouri where he married Addie J Buckland four children survived with two sons and two daughters one child and one daughter died in infancy. He was principal at Marysville Mo at outbreak of Civil War a Northern sympathizer forced to leave then taught and led schools in Ode Ill Des Moines and Fort Dodge Iowa later ran music academies in Des Moines Fort Dodge and Chicago. Funeral at Congregational church tidelock interment in cemetery.
