Germans Repelled Seven Counter Attacks in France and Argonne
In a Paris bulletin the French war office reports seven German counter attacks over the last day failed to gain ground. French forces remained on the offensive along the Rheims region and Argonne, repulsing German efforts west of Perthes Las Muplus and near Perthes. Artillery activity continued along the front with German attempts at bridges near the Ancre thwarted by French counterfire.

Separately authorities report a spree of burglaries over the past ten days with $19 stolen. Sheriff Brown arrested manadie Morris Friday night at the Great Tend Hotel. Morris was found under a bed but claimed privilege due to a relative-owned property. The sergeant noted ongoing investigations into repeated burglaries and pledged to pursue guilty parties.
