Tom Shepherd case ends with guilty verdict and fine

The Tom Shepherd case, pending in justice court, ended Friday with a guilty verdict and a $25 fine. He was charged initially with using his rooms for immoral purposes, later changed to drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Several witnesses testified. the trial lasted most of three days. A boy and two girls were arrested in Shepherd's room, but charges against them were dropped.
