Forty four guests enjoyed a two course luncheon then played cards. awards went to Mrs Geo Henderson a bed lamp, Mrs Wallace Miller silver salt and peppers, Mrs Chas Brass a box of cards, and Mrs Fred Hart parakeet salt and peppers.
Barstow Kiwanis Club votes to sponsor Boy Scouts and fund a new building. Members subscribe 1500 toward the project with the balance to be raised locally. A special committee coordinates plans and construction slated to begin soon, urging broad community support and help.
