Mr. John Salisbury of the D. V. nine returned recently. Miss Irene Parnell and Miss Mary Tibson visited the D. V. Jay of Los Angeles visited Gold Valley to sample John H. Hise's mine. L. L. Draper lives near collection. W. C. Bright runs the Lucy nine and operates a mill on the property with plans to begin full operations soon. F. O. Ricketts visited Cima.

Black Metal Mine Report at Archer District

Black Metal Mr G B Parks reports three feet of fine ore in the foot wall with 15 tons ready for shipment at the railroad. Pool and Garner nearby are also producing good ore at their adjoining operation.

Father Ryan to Visit Barstow for Mass and Church Plans

Father Ryan will visit Barstow on Saturday May 20 and celebrate mass at 9 a m in the school house. He hopes to share plans for a new Catholic church at Barstow with attendees.
