Victory Loan Drive Surpasses Barstow Quota
The Barstow district for the Victory Liberty Loan reports $36,550 subscribed so far, with a $30,000 quota likely to be exceeded by Saturday night. The Ladies Committee led by Mrs. Pitcher contributed $7,400, with other departments adding significant sums, and total expected receipts from Daggett, Yermo, and nearby points could bring the district near $50,000.
