Fire Department Responds to Roof Fire at McLean Residence
This morning the fire department was called to extinguish a blaze on the roof of the McLean home at the northeast corner of Third and Hutchinson. Mr. McLean arrived in his truck just as neighbors alerted him, and the fire was contained with little damage. Earlier, a grammar school drill prompted Principal Lindsley to begin fire practice before a false alarm redirected responders to the nearby residence.
