Wreck of Train No 17 Near Azusa Kills Two Officials
Train No 17, eight hours late from Barstow, wrecked near Azusa at about 3 pm after striking a steam roller. Engineer Olie Bryson and Fireman Hughes were killed. One woman injured. others unknown. Wrecker from Salt Lake used instead of Barstow. Fireman Hughes was substituting for the regular crew member.
