Afternoon Party Honoring Miss Mary Sloan at Henderson Home
About thirty guests attended a pleasant afternoon in honor of Miss Mary Sloan, bethrothed, hosted by Mrs. L. J. Henderson and daughter Mrs. Curtis. Whist and five hundred were played with Mrs. Homer Martin and Mrs. N. F. Platt winning favors. Bouquets of pink carnations and ferns adorned the room, a Madeira linen centerpiece given to the guest of honor, and a two course luncheon featured chicken salad, salted wafers, coffee, brick ice cream with a heart center, and coconut macaroons.
