Injured Lad Found Near River Bridge by Officer Smith
A fifteen year old lad, Frank Nicholson, was found unable to walk near the west river bridge Wednesday night after trying to catch a train. He gave Michigan as his home state. His companion Melvin Phillips was taken to the Detention home by Officer Harris. The injured boy was taken to the county hospital for treatment.

Hinkley Residents Recover After Auto Accident
Mrs. Ed Seymour of Hinkley is recovering from a broken collar bone. Mrs Speth has fully recovered from shock and bruises. Mr and Mrs Seymour were returning from San Bernardino with friend Mrs Speth when their car skidded at the Blue Cat in the Pass and overturned. Seymour said he nearly stopped the vehicle before it rolled.
